Biomolecular Technologies, S.L., created in 2003, is the promoting company of the laboratories named Molecular Diagnostics Center (MDC),a company based on research and development of of new rapid technical methods to identify bacterial pathogens (Salmonella, Listeria, E.coli 0157:H7, Legionella, Aspergillus, etc...) in food, water and air.

Molecular Diagnostics Center offers genetic analysis services and technical support with a wide range of market applications, from clinical and toxicological diagnoses, , food quality, agriculture and environmental testing, combining the benefits of genetics and recent advances in technological instrumentation (automatic DNA extraction , real time PCR, sequencing, micro-arrays, DNA-chips, etc..)

MDC was awarded by IMPIVA-CEEI (European Centre for Innovative Enterprises), for the best creation project of an Innovative Enterprise of the year 2002 and with Eureka Seal “The European Seal of Excellence in Research”.
