Through the analysis of high-resolution fusion curves (High Resolution Melting or HRM) in a real time PCR equipment, we can detect mutations, polymorphisms and epigenetic differences in double stranded DNA samples.

It has huge advantages over other genotyping technologies:

Simply send us the sequence and/or the name of the gene and our technical team will design the most specific primers for your particular needs. We will validate the testing with cDNA in our own laboratory and package it for you at optimum concentrations for your real time PCR and for all equipment currently available on the market.

Precision High Resolution Melt Mastermix

MDC can provide the Precision High Resolution Melt Mastermix for analyzing high-resolution fusion curves in your real time PCR. The mastermix is available in the following formats:

. Precision HRM 2x MasterMix (clear): recommended for the Rotorgene 6000 platform

. Precision HRM 2x MasterMix (blue): recommended for real time PCR platforms that use a 96 well plate based system such as the Roche 480. This mastermix contains a inert blue dye that does not affect the PCR or the HRM analysis. However, is does make pipetting on to a 96 well plate much easier. It’s particularly useful when using white plasticware for your experiments.
